Manchester West was a bit late arriving at the field so the game started a bit late.
The Saints started with Neil Hallock in net. A defensive line of TJ Tetreault, Noah Schwaegerle, Evan Surprenant and Jon Kiskinis. The Midfield was Tri-Captains David Ham and Jeff King along with Bryan King in the center. Connor Bailey and Tommy Griffiths were the outside mids and Jon Nartiff was up top as striker.

Ed Conroy and Andrew Civiello were both out resting injuries.

6:25 into the match Jeff King scored off a Jon Nartiff pass to put St. Thomas up 1-0
7:25 Jon Nartiff scored off a long defensive clear by Evan Surprenant to make it 2-0 Saints

Connor Kennedy, Sebastian Olsen and Tapley Taylor went in at outside mids
and striker.
After a hard foul Connor Kennedy went to ground and
dislocated his shoulder.

20:15 #15 Promise Kpee scored on a Penalty Kick for Manchester West

With Less than 2:00 remaining Bryan King scored off a cross from Connor Bailey to put the saints up 3-1 at Halftime.

54:14#15 Promise Kpee scored on a Penalty Kick for Manchester West to make it 3-2

55:13 #10 Lucas Schlickman took a corner kick that was headed into the net by #19 Ryan Askham to tie the game 3-3 but the Saints didn't flincn

42 seconds later The Saints came back as David Ham scored off a Jeff King pass to take the lead at 4-3.

Joe Duplisea and Brian Ellis saw time at outside midfield

Jacob Ham went in at outside mid and Ben Mardin went in at Defense

John Douglass and John Sweeney went in at outside mid

Nartiff and a Manchester West player banged heads while going up for a header and both came off bleeding from cuts. Both players returned to the game later after being taken care of by St. Thomas Athletic Trainer Nikki Minnis who was very busy at the game today.

Xavier Quinn and Aaron Dubois went in at outside midfield



Nate Purdy also saw time on the wing as the Saints used the width of their home field to their advantage.


Neil Hallock made 4 saves in the victory.
The Saints put
12 shots on the Manchester West goal.
Coach would like to thank the players for winning on his birthday.
The Saints (6-4) will travel to Northwood for a rematch against Coe Brown on Tuesday 10/4
