In nominating Beau for this award Coach Suleski said:
Beau made the
varsity team as a sophomore. He
was brought up to improve his skills.
His playing time increased each season until he earned a starting
spot his senior year.
He had 1 assist as
a junior and scored his first varsity goal this year and added another
assist. A career total of 4
points. He also earned
"Offensive Player of the Game" honors for scoring the game winning goal
against West. He was a member of one of the NSCAA Academic Award winning
teams. Over his three varsity
seasons he learned to put himself exactly where he needed to be on the
field. He showed great
determination and hustle. He
always let me know he was ready to go right back in whenever he came off the
field.
Beau was also recognized as a NHSCA/NHIAA Scholar
Athlete for being a senior and having a GPA of 3.25 or higher. He
was also a member of the 2012 Team which earned a NSCAA Team Academic Award
and the 2014 team which earned a NSCAA Team Ethics & Sportsmanship Silver
Award.
Off the field Beau is an Eagle Scout and has been on
the St. Thomas Student Advisory Board (SAB) for 4 years, he is the president
this year. Beau is applying for an Army ROTC scholarship and plans on
attending college as an ROTC cadet.
